当地时间1月25日，南非基础教育部网站发表公报，公布了2021年南非中小学开学的具体时间。南非国内的私立学校将于2月1日开学，公立学校将于2月15日开学。

(b) Being employed or conducting activities, consistent with the profession of the position, with or without remuneration or reward within the Republic of South Africa. Therefore, all persons who do not qualify for work permits or study permits who intend to work on visitor’s permit for a period not exceeding 3(three) months must in terms of section 11(2) seek authority from the Director-General. In order for the Embassy to give the authority to conduct work on a visitor's permit (visa), following should be provided: The applicant’s employer has to explain, in writing, why a standard work permit is not applied for. Reasons must also be provided why the limited work envisaged is urgent and necessary. Furthermore, the applicant’s employer in China and the South African company requiring the short term work must give undertakings that they will not apply for extension of the visa or a change of condition. 签证费签证、居留许可等所需照片规格
照片需：
35毫米宽，45毫米长头部及肩部上部特写，脸部须占照片大小的70-80%。照片需完整无损坏，清晰可辨，无墨迹、线条或折痕。照片为白色背景照片需：
申请人直视镜头恰当的光度以及对比度免冠，有宗教习俗的除外，但必须脸部特征清晰可辨。
可带眼镜，但透过镜片必须能看到眼睛。
审理时间
在南非签证申请中心提交签证申请的申请人可在提交日隔天算起的5-10个工作日（至少5个工作日）后领取护照。签证审核时间是从南非驻北京大使馆及南非驻上海总领事馆收到申请文件当天开始计算，不包括申请文件往返于使领馆和签证中心的快递时间。在成都/沈阳/武汉/西安/重庆/昆明签证中心递交的申请将被送往南非驻北京大使馆审理。在广州/杭州/济南签证中心递交的申请将被送往南非驻上海总领事馆审理。签证周期可能会因为个人情况不同而变化。护照返还时间请参考各签证中心营业时间。
申请人在领取护照时需携带当初提交签证申请时所给予的付款收据原件以及身份证件原件。
